Chief Operating Officer (COO - International) - [More Informations]

We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organization’s international business and operations. You’ll have to guide and control the diverse business operations of our international branches. We expect you to be an experienced and effective leader. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement local business strategies together with local management
  • Set,monitor and analyze objectives and results for growth and performancePromote Evago’s vision and culture internationally. Lead and motivate the country heads and their organisations
  • Review the performance of the country heads and their teams on a regular basis
  • Establish processes, procedures and policies for the effective and efficient execution of daily operations, including marketing/sales, offering, project planning, project execution, finance)
  • Oversee daily operations of the international businesses
  • Establish additional international country organization in collaboration with headquarters
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
  • Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role
  • Proven leader of country organisations
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR,, marketing, sales, operations, finance etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership cabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Australia, USA, Scandinavia

Responsibilities

  • Managing budgets, allocating branch funds, and defining financial objectives
  • Coordinating with other branches to share knowledge, plan promotional activities, or achieve goals
  • Adhering to high ethical and professional standards
  • Organising and executing training programs for branch personnel
  • Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback and coaching as needed
  • Recognising employee achievements and encouraging excellence in the work environment
  • Developing and implementing sales plans
  • Conducting regular sales and operations meetings
  • Briefing employees on current sales goals, promotions, and other relevant information
  • Organising marketing activities and events for the branch
  • Increasing brand awareness for the company within the community
  • Interacting with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback
  • Resolving customer problems as needed
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations for the industry within your state
  • Assessing market conditions and identifying opportunities
  • Drafting forecasts and business plans

Requirements

  • Proven experience within the event industry
  • Proven management experience
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR,, marketing, sales, operations, finance etc.

  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • 5-8 years of project management or related experience in the event industry
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
